Photos, packaging, and product rules. Low-quality photos will be rejected.
XOONPAY rules (must follow)
- You can list new and also resale/used/refurbished items — but you must be honest about condition.
- No cooked food (no ready-to-eat meals).
- Always provide clear product info and keep inventory updated.
- White background photos are required for a clean marketplace.
1) Use a bright white background
- Use a white wall + white table, or a white cardboard sheet.
- Avoid patterned cloth, bedsheets, or colored backgrounds.
- Keep the product centered, with space around it (don’t crop too tight).
2) Lighting: daylight is your best friend
- Shoot near a window in the daytime.
- Turn off harsh yellow bulbs if they cause warm color casts.
- Avoid direct sunlight that creates hard shadows. Soft light looks better.
3) Keep the photo sharp
- Clean your camera lens.
- Hold the phone steady (use both hands or a small tripod).
- Tap the product on screen to focus before shooting.
4) What photos to upload (minimum set)
- Main photo (front view) on white background
- Side view
- Back view
- Close-up of key details (logo, ports, texture, label)
- Original packaging / sealed box photo (front + back + sides)
You can also use manufacturer photos if they show the real product clearly (clean, no watermarks). Combine them with your sealed box photos so buyers trust it’s genuine.
5) Packaging photos (reduce disputes)
- Show the original packaging (sealed box) from multiple angles.
- If the box is open-box or damaged, show it clearly in photos and mention it in the description.
- Do not use shipping cartons as product photos.
Shipping cartons are fine for delivery — just don’t use them as the product images.
6) Describe what the product comes with
- Always list what is included: charger, USB cable, box, warranty card, receipt, accessories, etc.
- If something is missing, say it clearly (buyers will ask).
7) Quick background cleanup tips
- Use “Portrait” mode carefully (it can blur product edges).
- Increase brightness slightly, but don’t over-expose (keep true product colors).
- If you have a lightbox, even better — it creates that clean e-commerce look.
8) Common mistakes to avoid
- Dark photos
- Busy backgrounds (kitchen, bedroom, car seat)
- Watermarks and stickers
- Heavy filters that change the product’s true color
